Glow wire testing machines are used for the burning test of insulating materials in place for parts of electrical equipment which are not fixed live parts but which provide insulation against electric shock and for the insulation of fixed safety extra-low voltage parts. Imitation products due to fault conditions within the high temperature, such as overload, short circuit and other excessive temperature caused by the fire hazard
Glow wire test machine is based on IEC335, IEC60695-2-10: 2000 ~ IEC60695-2-13: 2000 "Glow wire / hotline, the basic test methods, glow wire test equipment and general test procedures" and UL 746A, IEC829 DIN695, VDE0471 , GB5169 and other standards require the use of non-flame ignition source program simulation test project.
Glow wire test machine will specify the material (φ4 Ni80 / Cr20) and the shape of the heating wire with a large current heating to the test temperature (500 ºC ~ 1000 ºC) 1min, the required pressure (1.0N) vertical burning test 30s, Ignition and combustion of the solid and other solid combustible materials, ignition temperature (GWIT), flammability and flammability index of the solid insulating material and other solid combustible materials, and the ignitability of the solid insulating material and other solid combustible materials.
